Byfield Village Hall Management Committee informs hirers of the Hall that by signing an agreement to use the Hall they are entering into a contract that could be used in evidence should legal action become necessary.

Use of all the tables and chairs together with kitchen utensils, crockery and cutlery in unlocked cupboards is included. Heating, hot water, kettles and microwave are all included but there are additional charges for use of the cooker (£8), the dishwasher (£5).  You must clear away at the end, to return the Hall to the state it was in at the start.  If you think further cleaning will be needed the charge is £30 and if  so, please tick the box on the Booking Form.  If you do not clean up satisfactorily then an additional £30 will be charged. We are often asked to waive a charge for a charitable organisation. We are also a charity, have very considerable overheads and have to balance our books. Charges differ between village / non-village and there is a 10% discount for those regular users.

- [Facilities](https://www.byfieldvillagehall.org.uk/about/facilities): The Main Hall includes a stage with a ceiling-mounted projection screen and audio system.  There is a well equipped servery and kitchen at the opposite end; the servery has a fridge, freezer, toasters, kettles, filter coffee machine and a large capacity water heater for hot drinks.  In the adjoining kitchen there is a commercial cooker with six full size rings, double oven and alongside that a generous hot cupboard and a microwave oven.  A commercial dishwasher speeds things up when catering for larger numbers.
