If you are an organisation wishing to make regular bookings, look first at the times already allocated to established regular users

When you have completed the online booking form click on ‘Submit’ and it is sent to .   All ‘required fields’ must be completed.  

We will respond by email to confirm the booking, provided all is in order, and we confirm the cost of the hire.  No booking will be confirmed until we have your fully completed form, but enquiries can be made via the phone numbers above.

Once completed and submitted, this form is the basis of the contract between the Byfield Village Hall Management Committee (BVHMC) and the hirer. 

Booking Details

BVHMC hire charges can be found here and include use of the tables and chairs and all the kitchen utensils, crockery and cutlery in unlocked cupboards.

If that covers your requirements please type your name in the box below. We accept this as your signature to create the contract which will be confirmed by the addition of the signature of the Chairman of BVHMC, or other authorised officer of the Committee. By signing you agree to the terms and conditions of hiring which are set out in the Hire Agreement, in particular you will be fully liable for any damage.

* Clearing the Hall by hirer is mandatory.
** Licence not required to serve alcohol at a private function.

Byfield Village Hall has a Premises Licence authorising the following regulated entertainment. Please indicate if your event involves:

Sale of Alcohol

The sale of alcohol is permitted in the Main Hall only between the following times:

Monday - Saturday 10:30am - 11:30pm
Sunday 10:30am - 10:30pm.

Sale of Alcohol Licence Agreement

To apply to Byfield Village Hall Management Committee for authorisation of the sale of alcoholic drinks under The Legislative Reform (Supervision of Alcohol Sales in Church & Village Halls) Order 2009, please state the name of the person(s) to be authorised to sell alcohol in accordance with the Licensing Act 2003.

By clicking submit, I acknowledge that I have read and understood the Terms and Conditions of Hire. The hirer must be over 18 and is required to be present during the event or else represented by another responsible and authorised person.

When a licensable activity takes place, the hirer also acknowledges reading the Hire Agreement and agrees to comply with all the obligations therein.
